...A church where the Holy Spirit leads, where the Word is preached without apology, where performance takes a backseat, where commitment is emphasized, where obedience is essential, where relationships are valued, and where you will be loved.

History and Journey

In 2005, PCF began as Tabernacle Fellowship – founded by Jerry and Susan Keller. It was located in Johnson County, south of Indianapolis. In the Old Testament, the Tabernacle moved whenever God gave the command and over the years, we've done just that.  We have worshiped in a home, a high school, under a tent, in a barn, at a restaurant, in a historic train station, and most recently at Grace Fellowship Church in Avon.

In March of 2013, following the call of God, we became Plainfield Christ Fellowship. We now worship on Sunday mornings at the beautiful, historic Morning Star Chapel on Center Street, while we are moving towards the construction of our building on Vestal Road!

What We Believe

Often, the first question people ask about a church is, "What do they believe?" or "What kind of church is it?" We are a non-denominational or independent church. In short, our beliefs are built upon the conviction that the Bible is the inspired and inerrant Word of God. We believe in the Holy Trinity: Father, Son and Holy Spirit - all existing eternally in total unity. For a longer, more detailed doctrinal statement, click here.
