The Gospel of Luke
November 9, 2025 - April 5, 2026
“The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim liberty to the captives and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty those who are oppressed, to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor.”
In this series through the Gospel of Luke, Pastor Taylor led us carefully through the life and ministry of Jesus, verse by verse and story by story, paying close attention to the text. Luke tells the story of the One anointed by the Spirit to proclaim the Kingdom of God as He made His way toward Jerusalem, toward His suffering, death, resurrection, and ascension. Along the way, we considered not only what Jesus did, but who He is, His teaching, His authority, and His compassion, and worked to learn how to read the Scriptures more carefully for ourselves.
